Pre Op Consult
As part of our Health and Wellness division, Delta Physical Therapy would like to offer the following free service to your patients.
Pre operative consultations can play a vital role in successful rehabilitation programs. Rehabilitation from a surgery can be a long and intimidating process. By bringing patients into the office for a consultation we will be able to familiarize them with our facilities, staff, and equipment. This will help to alleviate any reservations the patient might feel about their upcoming participation in physical therapy. This would also allow us to provide any specific information that the Doctor would like addressed prior to the patient's procedure. We are offering our staff of Physical Therapists to be available to your patients who are scheduled to have surgery and that may benefit from a pre operative consultation. Patients undergoing the following procedures may benefit from this service:Patients who cannot swim or have fear of water are at ease because the head is never submersed in the water.
- total joint replacements
- arthroscopic knee and shoulder procedures
- lumbar and cervical spine surgeries
- rotator cuff repairs
- foot and ankle procedures
Our goal through this program is to create an integrated pathway of care between the patient, physician, and physical therapist.
